Responsibilities

  • Work with Chancellors office to develop a mobile solution for RedFolder intiative
    Developed the Red Folder mobile application for iOS and Android as part of Red Folder initiative a CSU-wide program. Gave presentations to University leaders across the CSU.
  • Mobile app development and maintanance
    Collaborated with other developers, designers, and departments to build modern applications that meet the Universities standards in accessibility, security, and branding.
  • Requirements Elicitation and documentation
    Worked closely with clients throughout the entire lifecycle of the mobile apps.
  • Learn in-house technologies
    Learned to develop hybrid apps based on web technologies using tools like Cordova and how to distribute applications through the App Store and Play store.

Projects

Red Folder Initiative
Red Folder is a reference tool that contains safety tips and contact information for a wide variety of emergency campus resources. It also provides guidance on responding to incidents in which a community member might report being a danger to self or a threat to others.

Student Advising
Student Advising was my first project as a Mobile App Developer, it was web based hybrid app for the Student Advising department. It included advising resources and utilities necessary for any student to plan out a successful college experience.
